  • We offer a curated menu of modern cuts, lived-in color, luxury treatments, and premium extensions. Our services include:

    • Hair Extensions: Great Lengths cold Keratin Fusion, Tape-ins, K-tips, and weft extensions (including hand-tied and machine-weft options) 

  • MaVo Hairlounge is located in the heart of Fort Lauderdale at:

    922 N Federal Hwy, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304
     (Park Plaza on the Curve, right in between Amped Fitness and Office Depot.)

    Parking is available in the Plaza’s Parking Lot.

  • MAVO Hair Lounge is open:

    • Saturday: 9:00am - 4:00pm

    Sunday: Closed for rest & reset.

  • Our pricing is based on stylist level. Junior, Senior, Master, and Elite, which reflects experience, demand, and retention.
    All haircut and color services include a complimentary blow-dry.

    Haircuts
     Start at $85 with a Senior Stylist and go up to $115 with an Elite Stylist.

    Color Services

    • Root Touch-Up: typically $150–$164 depending on the stylist

    • Other color services vary based on the technique, hair length, and the artist you book with.

    Treatments
     Deep conditioning and scalp treatments range from $10–$50, depending on the type of treatment added.

    Smoothing Services
     Pricing varies by method and hair type. (See our Smoothing page for a full breakdown.)

    Hair Extensions
     Extension pricing depends on length, volume, and method.
    Volume-only installs typically start around $165–$600, while full transformations can range up to $2,500.

  • Yes! MAVO Hair Lounge offers gift cards for all services. They make a perfect gift for birthdays, holidays, or any special occasion. Gift cards can be purchased directly through our website or in the salon. Purchase a gift card here.

  • Yes, for major services like hair coloring, balayage, or extensions, we highly recommend booking a consultation. During this time, one of our stylists will assess your hair type, discuss your goals, and recommend the best plan for you. This ensures that your service turns out exactly how you imagine it.

  • Absolutely! We encourage clients to bring photos or Pinterest ideas. This helps our stylists understand your vision and deliver a hairstyle, color, or extension look that aligns with your expectations.

  • We give personalized aftercare advice based on your service. Some common tips include:

    • Use sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner (especially for color-treated or extension hair

    • Use a heat protectant before using hot tools

    • For treatments like keratin or botox, follow our recommended wash schedule to prolong the results

    If you have extensions, schedule maintenance every 6–8 weeks

  • That’s totally okay, our stylists are here to guide you. During your consultation, we’ll talk about what you want, assess your hair’s condition, and recommend the best service or combination of services to achieve your goals. We’ll also provide you with a quote so you know exactly what to expect.

  • Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel. We kindly request at least 24 hours notice to reschedule your appointment and avoid any cancellation fees.

  • If you arrive late, we will do our best to accommodate you. However, your service may be shortened or rescheduled depending on the remaining time and stylist availability. Contact us immediately if you anticipate being late.
